Microscope - Anderson, SC - Anderson Skin & Cancer Clinic

Dermatopathology

A dermatopathologist is a highly trained physician who specializes in diagnosing disorders of the skin under a microscope. Anderson Skin & Cancer Clinic has a board-certified dermatopathologist on staff leading our cutting-edge dermatopathology lab. Our in-house lab is beneficial to not only patients but also to our providers. As a result, our in-house lab produces a faster turnaround, which allows for quicker treatment.

Dr. Mark Quarterman

Board-Certified Dermatopathologist

Dr. Mark Quarterman is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and in dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology. These two certifications allow Dr. Quarterman to review the clinical and pathological aspects of dermatology for his patients. He is able to interpret the pathology, firsthand, in order to give the patient the highest quality of care.
